Raven/Kanyon Segment - Nitro - December 7, 1998 - "More Tension"
(Raven and Kanyon have a match scheduled, yet Raven won't come out. Kanyon confronts him backstage)
Kanyon: "Come on, we gotta go. We gotta go, bro. Come on, we're gonna get in trouble."
Raven: "You're such a geek, Kanyon."
Kanyon: "Oh, I'm a geek? I'm a geek? That may be so pal, but - I'm always there for you. At least I'm there for you. What about your old high school friend, Perry Saturn? Where's he been? What about your longtime friend DD - excuse me, Diamond Dallas "Scum" Page. Where's he been? Huh? He's probably at some convenience store opening - BANG! What about your mentor? What about the guy who broke you in? What about "Rowdy" Roddy Piper? Where's he been? When's the last time you heard from him? They're not there for you, Raven; I am! I am! Come on, be there for me! Ahh, you're hopeless."
(Kanyon gets on the mic and walks down to ringside talking about what just happened)
Kanyon: "Raven, the knucklehead, has decided once again that he's not gonna come out here with me. And I don't care, I don't care because it's his fault - he is the reason that last week, in front of all my homies, my name went down in the record book as the loser who ended the 20+ year losing streak known as the Armstrong curse. And then on Thursday, these chowderheads, the Horsemen, they almost beat within an inch of my life, cause Raven - cause Raven would not tag in. Well guess what, that is not gonna happen here tonight, because tonight I am not going to wrestle. No, I'm not going to wrestle cause once again I see that the odds are two on one. Actually - excuse me, Arn Anderson's here, I'm wrong - the odds tonight are 2 and a 1/2 on one. So, no, there'll be no match tonight, but I'll tell you what I will do. I will beat one of you three idiots on Thursday, and I don't care which one it is. Maybe it'll be Arn. Nah, I'm only kidding, he's too old. No, I'll beat one of you two idiots on Thursday. Be there or be square, or in your case, you can be both. What are you doing? Get out of my way, old man!"
(Kanyon pushes Arn Anderson, who pulls out a crowbar to hit Kanyon with as Kanyon runs back into the ring)

Raven - Video - WCW Monday Nitro - November 2, 1998 - "Self-Pity Party"
Raven:"What about me? What about Raven? Kris Christopherson once said that freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose . . ."
Kanyon: "Ahhh, there you are, Mr. Martyr, Mr. Self-Pity. How goes the death wish, Raven? How goes it? Lets see what we got; last week the Giant chokeslamed you through a table. What do you got planned for todays hurt du jour? What about you? What about . . ."
Raven: "Leave me alone, Kanyon."
Kanyon: "Leave you alone? What is this a self-pity party? Am I not invited? Am I not invited to your self-pity party? What are you gonna do tonight, jump off a building? Come on Raven . . ."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Raven - Speech - WCW/nWo Halloween Havoc - October 25, 1998 -
(Raven grabs the mic)
"As everyone can see, I've been on a bit of a losing streak lately. Obviously, it's not been my fault. I've been a victim of circumstances again beyond my control and I have six words to say about that: What about me??? What about Raven!?? I went to bed at eleven o'clock this morning and when I got here I was scheduled in an unscheduled match. I wasn't informed ahead of time, once again, forces working against Raven. Well, you know what, I don't feel like wrestling tonight. I wasn't told ahead of time and I'm not going to. Quote the Raven . . .Nevermore."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Raven/Kanyon Interview - WCW Saturday Night - October 10, 1998 -
(Mean Gene starts the interview off by talking about the WCW tag team champs, Scott Hall and The Giant, and how they might dispute the fact that Raven and Kanyon are the best tag team in WCW right now.)
Kanyon: "They can dispute all they want, the fact of the matter is this; there is no one better in tag team wrestling than Raven and Kanyon in WCW."
Mean Gene: "You know I must say, on my hotline report I covered this a couple of weeks back -- uh -- the way you play the game is rather tough and I think Villano IV could -- uh -- testify to that. You just about put him out of action permanently."
Raven: "It's a violent game, Gene --"
Mean Gene: "VERY violent!"
Raven: " -- And one shouldn't play if one isn't willing to accept the consequences. When one steps into the ring with Raven, there's the Evenflow, there's the Flatliner from Kanyon . . . there's many different ways for us to injure an opponent, and those aren't even the ways we permanently cripple them as we could have done the Villano."
Mean Gene: "You know, I-I think that was really an intention. In the back of your mind, you wanted to do that kind of damage to this young man from Mexico ."
Raven: "Absolutely -- Absolutely. Gene, I have to put the fear -- the fear of Raven and the fear of Kanyon in my opponents. They have to understand that when they step in the ring with us, it won't just be a wrestling match, a wrestling contest. It'll be a battle for their life."
Mean Gene: "You want to hurt somebody?"
Raven: "Yes, I want to hurt someone."
Mean Gene: "What if we put the shoe on the other foot, and all of a sudden you were put in that position, with somebody like the Giant and Scott Hall -- they wanted to injure you permanently."
Raven: "Gene, if you knew about my childhood, the pain that I've suffered, the pain that I've gone through, the way my parents treated me --"
Mean Gene: "You want me to get a couch out here, you can lay down and tell me everything?"
Raven: "Gene, you can get a couch, you can get whatever you'd like. It doesn't really matter. It doesn't change the past and it doesn't change the way I feel. Now Hall and Giant, they can step forth whenever they'd like. They obviously don't defend the belts very often. But when they do, we'll be there, and we'll be ready and we will take them."
Mean Gene: " Tell you what, for 250 bucks an hour, I'll talk to you as long as you wanna talk."
Raven: "That's enough Gene. Quote the Raven, nevermore . . ."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Speech - Thunder - October 8, 1998 - "A Cinder in the Furnace of the Damned " -
(Raven makes his way to ringside and gets a mic.)
"When I was eight years old, my mother told me, don't even bother trying because you won't amount to anything anyway. You're just a cinder in the furnace of the damned. Yet somehow, I fought my way out of the gutter and I made myself who I am. But somehow, someway, it's always somebody else who gets my breaks. Take for example, DDP. Page and I started out together, yet look where he is and look where I am. Page used to be a common man. Now he's got a million-dollar house, a butler, a maid. What about me? What about RAVEN!?"
"DDP, he gets to wrestle with Dennis Rodman, he gets to wrestle with Karl Malone and Jay Leno. What do I get? I get the Flock . . . wow. Page gets a Playboy centerfold for a wife and what do I get? What about me? What about Raven?"
"Page continually gets the breaks that by all rights should be mine. What about me?
Page: "What about you? The way I see it, you're getting banged!"
(Fight now ensues between the two)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Speech - WCW Saturday Night - October 3, 1998 - Raven and Kanyon's new mission -
(Kanyon grabs the mic.)
"This on? Tenay, Hudson, shut your mouth, I've got something to say. Who's better than Raven and me? NOBODY! Now, ever since Saturn broke my thumb and set the Flock free, Raven's been pretty unhappy. As a matter of fact, he's been downright miserable, ornery, just not fun to be around. And ever since then, he's been looking for some victims to take it out upon. So Armstrong boys, the Armstrong curse is in full effect tonight. Because Armstrong boys, tonight. You're the victims!"
(Raven and Kanyon jump the Armstrongs)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Speech - Road Wild - September 13, 1998 -
"Saturn, you?ve been an embarrassment for far too long, and tonight begins the beginning of your permanent indentured servitude. Quote the Raven, nevermore . . ."
Saturn: "Raven, this is all about honor and you have none. It doesn?t matter tonight if I win or lose ?cause I know I?ll still keep my integrity."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thunder - September 3, 1998 - Perry Saturn Interview -
Saturn: "This isn't about The Flock. This is about Raven; or the fact that Raven manipulates and bullies people. I've seen people like this my whole life and I'm fed up with it."
"A lot of people are calling me Lodi 's lackey, his servant. Well, let me try to explain. I got myself into a match that I thought I was gonna win. I had no idea Kanyon was gonna cost me the match. I'm a man of my word and I'm gonna keep my word and be Lodi 's servant until the pay-per-view."
"I've put myself in this situation because it's important to me to break up the Flock. It's important to me to stop Raven from bullying these guys. Yeah, sure I regret it now. I wish I wouldn't have done it. But there's nothing I can do. I gave my word and I'm gonna uphold my end of it."
"Why is my word so important to me? Well, first of all, growing up I didn't have much of anything. All I had was my word and I learned to put high value on that. Later on in life, I became an army airborne ranger. I learned that in a group you need to learn to trust each other, possibly put your life in each others hands. In a life-or-death situation, all that you can count on is your word. And I've learned to make that so important to me. There's nothing that anyone can do to make me break my word. Not then, not now, not never."
"I'm gonna uphold my word no matter what it takes."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nitro - August 31, 1998 - Raven/Kanyon/Lodi segment with Saturn -
Raven: " Lodi , tell Saturn that tonight, he is not to put his hands on either me or Kanyon."
Lodi: "Hey Saturn, tonight, you can't touch Raven and you can't touch Kanyon!"
Raven: "Kanyon; break him."
Kanyon: (mockingly)"So you've got pride and integrity and Raven and I don't? Pride and integrity, pride and integrity. Where did you learn your pride and integrity? From your military training? From your army training, sir? Come on, Kanyon's calling you out, pal. Hit me! Come on, son. Heh heh. Come on, son. Heh heh. Come on! I want you to hit me, all these people want you to hit me, and deep down, in places you don't like to talk about in parties, you want to hit me. So come on! Hit me, Saturn! Hit me! Hit me! Hit me! Come on!"
Raven: "Awww, you won't do it, will you, Saturn? You've got too much pride, too much INTEGRITY!!?!?! We'll see how much integrity you have with Lodi as your tag team partner."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nitro - August 31, 1998 - Mike Tenay Interview with Saturn -
Tenay: "Saturn, the stipulation was that you would be Lodi 's public servant until Fall Brawl."
Saturn: "That's the stipulations I agreed to. I'm a man of my word and I'll uphold my end of the bargain."
Tenay: "Now wait a minute, this was a singles match, one on one with Lodi . Kanyon and the other Flock members freely interfered."
Saturn: "Listen, just cause Raven and Lodi aren't men of integrity doesn't mean I'm gonna break my word. I'm a former army airborne ranger. I live by a code of pride and honor, and there's no way I'm gonna let them violate my code and rape me of my honor."
Tenay: "But of all people, this is Lodi we're talking about. What could he have in store for you between now and September 13th?"
Saturn: "Listen, it doesn't matter what Lodi has me do, because I know that pain is temporary and pride is forever."
Lodi: "Wait a minute. Yadda yadda yadda. Come on, we gotta go. I need my bags, I need my posterboard. Come on!"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thunder - August 27, 1998 - Lodi Confronts Saturn -
(Saturn's theme plays as he stalks down to ringside)
Lodi: "Saturn, get out here! Come on, Saturn! Come on, Saturn, I got some words for you.'
(Saturn stalks into the ring)
Lodi: "Hey, hey, hey, hey! Look, a couple of weeks ago, you broke my fingers. Tonight, I want some retribution, ok? So I'm gonna challenge you to a match.'"
Saturn: "Listen, I don't know what's the matter with you. Maybe you're out of your mind, but first of all, Raven broke your fingers, I didn't, and you've got no hope of beating me in a match. Forget it.'
Lodi: "Raven didn't break my fingers. Raven's my friend. He likes me. He just bought me a brand new rubber duckie. And in honor of Raven, I'll beat you in Raven's rules match, which is like Lodi 's rules, anything goes."
Saturn: "Listen kid, don't let that small brain and big mouth get you in a fight you can't win.'
Lodi: "Hey, Saturn, what are you? Scared? If you beat me, if you beat me, I'll leave the Flock. But when I beat you, and I know I will, you have to agree to be my personal servant, my slave, until the pay-per-view."
Saturn: "Fine, we'll do this, but we'll do it now."
(Saturn hits Lodi with a forearm)
"Hoo Hah!"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nitro - August 17, 1998 - Raven interview with Mean Gene -
Mean Gene: "You know, we're a couple of months away from the Fall Foliage, but let's bring out the leader of the Flock. Please welcome to Conneticut . . . Raven!"
(Raven theme plays, Mean Gene mentions to Tony Schiavone that he has spoken to Raven on a couple of other occasions. Raven comes out.)
Mean Gene: "Raven, before we go any further, I've got to confront you regarding what I saw this past Saturday on WCW Saturday Night on our sister station TBS. Hey, Hey, wait a second, Horace . . ."
(Horace Boulder comes out with stop sign in hand and Mean Gene holds the mic up to him)
Horace: "Hey, Raven, you make me sick to my stomach!"
Mean Gene: "What is this all about?"
Horace: "For the last four months, I have done nothing but watch your back and help you win matches. You haven't done nothing for me or anybody in the Flock. Now for the last two weeks, I have beat the living dog out of you into this ring. But apparently, it hasn't gotten through to you. So tonight, I want you one more time so I can beat some sense into that cry-baby head of yours."
Mean Gene: "Now I didn't even get the first question out, but apparently, you can respond to this."
Raven: "If you'd like a match with me, that's fine. Except we'll do it under Raven's rules, which means it'll be a tag match this time and I'll pick the partners. And for your partner, I'll give you Kanyon. And for my partner, since he might as well get used to being subservient to me again, I'll pick Saturn."
Mean Gene: "Wait a minute, that doesn't jive.Come on Raven. What are you trying to pull my leg? These people know better than that. Or do they?"
(Saturn and Kanyon now march out angrily to confront Raven)
Saturn: "You're out of your mind. There's no way I'm teaming with you. Forget it!"
Raven: "What? Are you scared to face Kanyon and Horace?"
Mean Gene: "Whoa, whoa, wait a second . . ."
Saturn: "Alright, I'll team with you. I'll stand in your corner and the second you reach for a tag, I'll knock your head off."
Mean Gene: "Wait a minute. James Dillon, Kanyon, you're here. Maybe you can shed some light on all of this. Saturn, come on back."
J.J. Dillon: "Alright, what I'm hearing is a verbal committment from you, a verbal committment from you, you're shaking you head yes, and I've heard a verbal committment from you. So we have, as far as I'm concerned, an official tag team match that is gonna take place tonight. We're going to see it. But hold on a minute, this talk about slapping your own partner, we've had enough of that. If any of you causes your own partner to lose in this match, you're going to be suspended from WCW for 90 days."
Mean Gene: "Get out of here, J.J. 90 days? That's a little . . ."
J.J. Dillon: "And furthermore, I'm going to instruct the referee assigned to this match tonight that it can only end via submission or a pinfall. We're tired of this. We want to see a winner."
Mean Gene: "How about that. Tonight, J.J. Dillon? Yes, tonight: Raven, Saturn, Horace, Kanyon. That's coming up here on TNT. Don't go away. Big night. Monday nights. WCW Monday Nitro."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

WCW Saturday Night - August 15, 1998 - "The Challenge"
"When the night comes, and sleep overtakes me, my dreams are filled with sadness and heartache, brought to me by my own Flock. Time and again, I do for you. Time and again, I give for you. Time and again, I hurt for you. And how do you repay me? With scorn and derision! You are the most selfish, self-centered, worthless bunch of ingrates its ever been my displeasure to have been associated with.'
'Riggs, look at you. When you lost half of your vision, who took you to the hospital? Who stayed with you? I did.'
'Kidman, when you were living on the streets, who took you in? I did! I gave you a home.'
'Sick Boy, Lodi ; What about me?! What about Raven?!?'
'And, Horace, you. You, Horace, you disgust me most of all. You dared to defy me? You dared to stand up to me? Get out of my sight! Get out of my sight! I don't even want to look at you, Horace. Go! Horace, you will learn the error of your ways. So it is written, and so it shall come to pass . . .'
Saturn: "Shut up!"
Raven: 'Now listen, each and every one of you . . .'
Saturn: 'Shut up! Raven! Shut your mouth! Why don't you be quiet long enough for someone else to speak. Shut up!'
'I'm not gonna sit back and watch you bully these guys anymore! Sick Boy, wake up! You're a tremendous young talent. You have a promising career in front of you. But on your own! Not following him!'
'Riggs, you're a former tag team champion. What has Raven ever given you? Impaired vision!'
'Kidman, you and I used to be friends. You have more than talent than anybody in this ring. You don't need him. Screw your head on right, man! Go win yourself the cruiserweight title.'
'Hey, I know how convincing his stories can be. I used to follow him. You guys don't need him. He needs you. He can't make you stay. Leave!'
Raven: 'They're not going anywhere. They're staying right here with me.'
Saturn: 'He can't make you stay. Leave if you want to."
Raven: 'Yeah, leave. Go ahead and leave. They're not going anywhere.'
Saturn: 'Alright. Since they won't fight for themselves, I'll fight for them. Let's you and I fight one more time, the last time, but let's make it mean something. Put everything on the line. If I beat you, you let the Flock free."
Raven: 'That's fine by me. But let's do it at WarGames, and make the people pay for it.'
'Oh by the way, Saturn. Saturn, one more thing. When you lose, and you will lose, you'll come back to me. You'll come back to the Flock and do my bidding. Quote the Raven, nevermore."

Thunder - August 13, 1998 - Speech - "Horace's Reprimand"
"The line must be drawn here. Horace, your insubordination will not be tolerated. Saturday Night at Road Wild, you cost me the triangle match. What about me?!? What about Raven!?!
'Monday Night, I chose to reprimand you, and you allowed Saturn to give me the Death Valley Driver and for that, you must suffer. Quote the Raven, nevermore . . ."
(At this point, Raven begins to unmercifully beat Horace the ingrate into submission).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nitro - August 11, 1998 - Speech - "Someone Must Pay"
"Once again, the Flock has let me down. Two nights ago at Road Wild, Riggs; you, Kidman, and Sick Boy didn't even show up, and for that, you gotta be punished. Lodi , as usual, you were worthless. But you, Horace, you cost me the match. You hit me with the stop sign, and for that, a lesson must be learned . . ."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thunder - August 5, 1998 - Speech - More Mindgames on Saturn
"Saturn, it's you, me, and Kanyon, and only I know how this will play out; because you dance to the tune I play, you bow before me. And Saturday, at the triangle match, it may just turn into a handicap match. And I don't want you to go in unprepared, so I'll let you have a handicap match tonight because only I know where Kanyon is. So tonight, you'll face Riggs and Sick Boy by yourself. Quote the Raven nevermore . . ."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nitro - August 3, 1998 - Speech - Mind Game on Saturn -
"Tonight's contest between Sick Boy and Kanyon will not take place. Leave, Mickey J.'
'Obviously, Sick Boy is here. But Kanyon has been swallowed up by the darkness. The speculation is, . . .the speculation is, and you better listen close, Saturn, is that either Kanyon got "flocked" and is nursing his wounds in some dark, dirty alley. Either that, or Kanyon's in a corner dive, nursing a drink with his new best friends, the rest of the Flock. Saturn, you better hope that Kanyon was the victim of Raven and a cement wall, because if not, this Saturday at Sturgis, our triangle match, you, me, and Kanyon, will be a handicap match. Quote the raven, nevermore. . ."
Lodi: Hey Saturn, after he kicks your butt on Saturday night, I may get a hold of you, j-brone, and I may put the boots to ya . . .
(Raven then beats up on Lodi , Saturn comes and beats on Lodi some more).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nitro - August 3, 1998 - Video - "On the Edge" -
"Every one of you craves life's pleasures, yet you don't indulge. You want to drink from ecstacy's cup, yet you won't imbibe. You want to walk the edge, like Raven, but you're afraid to fall, so you back away, slowly, hoping no one notices your frailties, your cowardice.'
'You wish you weren't so weak, and you hurt. Well what do you know about pain!? Try walking in my shoes. Experience my sorrow, a childhood without hope, a life without joy. But hey, at least you'll be alive.'
'They say the Raven is the Flock's guide down alienation's barren path. But really, I walk alone. Quote the Raven, nevermore . . ."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

July 27, 1998 - Nitro - Speech w/ Saturn interfering
"They said things would be different when I got older, but they lied. In high school, I was despised, I was hated, and I was attacked for being different. It's no different now. I'm still hated, I'm still despised, and I'm still being attacked on a regular basis, whether it's Kanyon, or Saturn, or any another representative of society's norm. Well, what about me!! What about Raven!!'
(At this point, Saturn marches down to ringside to confront Raven).
Saturn: "I'm so sick of hearing you cry, come on! How tough was it being a spoiled rich kid? Come on, get up and I'm gonna give you something to cry about!"
(Raven gets up and allows Saturn to DVD him. Kanyon then comes in and seemingly saves Raven).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

July 2, 1998 - Thunder - Speech
"Saturn, I accept your challenge for Bash at the Beach. But if you recall, the last time you challenged me to a fight, we were in sixth grade in the school yard and you walked away with a bloody nose and a black eye. And it maybe close to twenty years later, but obviously the outcome won't be any different'
'But what pains me the most is even though you're an egotistical, self-centered user, I never thought that you would turn on me. What about me, What about Raven? But so it is written, and so it shall come to pass.'
'As far as Kanyon is concerned. Kanyon, I'm giving you a stay of execution. I give you my word that I will leave you alone until I've finished with Saturn. But then, and only then, you will feel my pain. Quote the Raven, nevermore . . ."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Video - July 2, 1998 - Thunder - "Happiness is Helping Others" -
" What about me? What about Raven? People say I'm cold. They say I'm calculating. But they don't tell you about the philanthropy. They don't tell you about the humanity.'
' I take a guy like Kidman, a runaway, and I give him shelter. I take a guy like Riggs, who's lost the use of one eye, and make him feel like he can function in society again. I take a 7 foot plus freak like Reese and I make him stop feeling like an outcast.'
"I should be lauded for these things, but instead, I'm scorned with derision. I should be named a humanitarian, but I'm not. So what about me? What about Raven? You be the judge. Quote the Raven, nevermore . . ."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- Speech made before attacking Kanyon - Nitro - June 29, 1998 -
"Kanyon, where you walk, you walk alone. And where you stand, you stand alone. A generation ago, that would have been admirable, but today, it's just foolish. Quote the Raven, nevermore . . ."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Speech made before attacking Saturn - Nitro - June 29, 1998 -
"Saturn, it's time you started to take responsibilty for your life. It's your fault as a child that you were unpopular. It's your fault as a child that you were poor. It's your fault as a child that your dad used to beat you. And it's your fault that our friendship is over.'
'Friendship is a two-way street. And all you ever did was take. So take this! Quote the Raven, nevermore . . ."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Speech made before facing The Public Enemy - Thunder
"I know you're out there waiting. You're waiting for the right opportunity to permanently end my career. But I can wait as long as you can. And so it is written, so it shall come to pass.'
'And as far as you two are concerned, this match will be under Raven's rules, which means there are no rules. Quote the Raven, Nevermore . . ."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Video - "Cruelty Can Be Kind"
"They say that I say that I have problems. That I walk away from responsiblity. Yeah, I've walked away from a broken home. My broken dreams.'
'My father didn't show much emotion. But at least if he had a bad day at work, I got to feel the brunt of it. I guess it's better to feel something, than nothing.'
'They say I'm a little cruel. Maybe I inflict too much punishment on my opponents. But I guess sometimes, you gotta be cruel to be kind. Quote the Raven, nevermore . . ."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thunder - Speech made regarding Saturn's dismissal
"For quite some time there's been a malignancy, a tumor, that's infected the very foundation of the Flock. But Sunday night, at the Great American Bash, I decided that it was time to remove that tumor, Saturn. That it was time to heal that wound. But first, tonight, Reese, you will win me the U.S. belt, RIGHT!?'
Reese: "YEEAAAAHHHH!!!"
Raven: "Go!!"
"Saturn, when we were children, and you were unpopular and lonely, who was your friend? I was, Raven was.'
'When you were too poor to hang out with the other kids, who loaned you money? I did, Raven did.'
'When the Flock refused to accompany you to ringside because of your anti-social behavior, who forced them too? I did, Raven did.'
'But you let them down and now they understand. See, no one respects the flame quite like the fool who's badly burned and the Flock realizes how you betrayed them. How you let them down. How you let me down. What about me? What about Raven? All I asked was that you defeat Kanyon. And not only could you not do that, but you had the unmitigated gall to vent your frustration at losing by trying to wrap your hands around my throat. And for that, I can never forgive you. For that, I despise you. For that Saturn, you broke my heart. And so it is written, and so it shall come to pass. Quote the Raven, nevermore . . ."
(Saturn's theme comes on, he then stalks to ringside).
Saturn: " I let you down? I broke your heart? No, you let me down and from now on, we're through! I'm on my own!"
(Brawl then breaks out between the Flock, Raven ,Saturn, and Kanyon).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Great American Bash - Saturn's firing from the Flock -
"Saturn, I give you one simple assignment. All you had to do was beat Kanyon. And what did you do? You lose. What about me? What about Raven? I sent you out to do a job. You can't do anything right, can you? You never could. Hey look, it's only been one loss. Don't worry about it, it's not that big a deal. Just . . .just drop it.'
(The Flock comes out to ringside at this point).
'You know what, I'm sick of you, Saturn. You want a piece of me, Saturn?'
(Saturn attacks Raven, The Flock attacks Saturn, Raven escapes).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thunder (3 days before the Great American Bash) - "Firing of the Riot Squad"
(Raven walks into the ring after Saturn defeats Glacier)
"Anywhere, anytime, anyone? Big deal. What about me? What about Raven? Now, Mortis, oh excuse me, Kanyon, let me tell you something. Running ain't much of a living, so step out of the shadows and come into the light. Come to me and I'll set you free. Come on Kanyon, come to me and I'll set you free. . .'
(Raven pauses for several moments until it seemingly becomes apparent that Kanyon is not coming)
'Obviously, the man has no heart or the stomach to face me alone, so I'd like to address a separate issue. These four riot cops are the most inept and embarrassing disgraces, but then again, what would I expect from J.J Dillon and WCW? And as far as I'm concerned, you've allowed me to be attacked so numerously that I'm firing you, I'm firing you, I'm firing you, and yes, I'm firing you!"
(Raven then begins to evenflow the riot cops to reveal that one of them is Kanyon in disguise. Kanyon then flatlines Raven and escapes)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nitro (1 week before the Great American Bash) - "Tantrum over Kanyon"
(Raven has just defeated the Disco Inferno at this point)
"Hey Mortis, or Kanyon, or whatever you're calling yourself, I'm out here alone. No Saturn, no Flock, and no riot cops. So why don't you come down now and face me alone. Be a man. Come on Kanyon. I'm laying down Kanyon, come on, come on and fight me! Come fight me Kanyon! Where are you!?! You think you get me anytime, anywhere, as anyone!?! Well, what about me?!? What about Raven!?! What about ME!!?!
(Raven storms off the ring)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thunder (2 weeks before the Great American Bash) - "The Re-hiring of the Flock"
(At this point, Raven and Saturn have just defeated the Public Enemy)
"Another victory for Raven . . .and Saturn! Now because of me, they fired Mortis, or Kanyon, or whatever name he's using. But because I've been running roughshod through all of WCW's stars like Diamond Dallas Page, J.J. Dillon has decided to rehire this Kanyon, the man who's been sneak attacking me! What about me? What about Raven's safety!?! Now luckily I have Saturn to make sure I'm okay, and to make sure you're okay, I've rehired the Flock. Come on out, Flock!"
Saturn: "What! What!"
Raven: 'Don't thank me now, Saturn. I've also done you another favor. Since Kanyon's been re-instated, I've signed you to wrestle him at the Great American Bash 'cause i'm gonna do everything I can to make his life miserable. So I've done you two favors now, but don't thank me 'cause that's what friends are for. Quote the Raven, nevermore . . ."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thunder - Raven's Reconciliation with Saturn
(Raven runs into the ring and evenflows Hammer who was about to attack Saturn. Raven then grabs a mic)
"Saturn, look at what I did for you. I saved you again. I saved you from Hammer. I fired the Flock. We've been friends since childhood. Come on. You and I together again as a team. Come on. Raven and his enforcer: You and I, together again!"
Saturn: "You're right. We've been friends since childhood. But you know more than anybody I didn't need your help."
Raven: "I-I know you didn't. But I was there. It's the thought. It's the thought that counts. You and I . . ."
Saturn: "You're right. It is the thought that counts."
Raven: "Heh heh, wait, Mortis!! It's Mortis, get him!! He's right there!! Get him!!"
Saturn: "That's not Mortis."
Raven(Paranoid): "He's over there!! Get him, he's over there!! Get him!!
(While Saturn and the riot squad are beating up the snack vendors, Mortis comes out and lays Raven out)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nitro - Video - "Kanyon"
Kanyon: " Oklahoma City -- Raven, you Evenflowed me on a metal rampway, and you put me out. They took me to the emergency room. And that night, Mortis died. But I survived.'
'May 17 -- Slamboree. Raven, I hit you with the chair shot heard 'round the world. That's the night Kanyon, the man behind the mask, was reborn. It's not over, Raven. I've already gotten to you and the Flock. As a fan, as an usher, as a vendor, and as a cop. And I'm gonna get to you again, and again, and again. And you'll never see me coming. Just remember Raven, I can get to you anytime, anywhere as anyone . . ."
(The video ends and static comes upon the screen)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nitro - Speech - "The Firing of the Flock"
"I've asked the Flock to join me while I discuss two people. One who I care deeply for, and the other who I despise with unbridled passion. Come here.'
'Mortis, you've attempted to humiliate and embarrass me with your repeated sneak attacks. But remember, as the path grows brighter, it also grows darker, and I will be your guide down agony's bleak path. I will be the nightmare in your dreams that . . . (Crowd heckles Raven) I will be the nightmare in your dreams that causes you to wake up at three in the morning sweating and in tears, and crying for your mother's love. And so it is written, and so it shall come to pass."
"Now I'd like to discuss Saturn. Saturn and I have been friends since childhood. What about me, Saturn? What about Raven? Who drove you to school when you were too poor to afford a car? Who was there to console you when Sheila broke your heart in eleventh grade? I did. Who saved you last week from Hammer? I did! What about me?!? What about Raven!?!'
'Saturn, your friendship means everything to me, and I'll do whatever it takes to have you stand beside me. I'll-I'll fire the Flock. I don't need the Flock, all I need is you. You standing beside me. I'll get rid of each and everyone of you. You're fired! You're fired, and you're fired! Now come back, Saturn.'
Lodi: "Fired? What-what do you mean, boss? Oooff!"
(Raven kicks Lodi and evenflows him)
Raven: "Saturn, come back. Come on, Saturn. Just me and you, Saturn. Come back, Saturn!! Now!! Now!!!"
(Raven throws mic down in anger and disgust)

Crucified for the sins of my humanity ...

By the flesh of my flesh, and the blood of my blood,
You will crucify the raven, NEVERMORE!

Raven - ECW Wrestling on TNN - October 15, 1999
"It's 5:30 in the morning in New Orleans on Bourbon Street . Look at these dirtballs, it's a complete den of iniquity; there's decadence, debauchery, a neighborhood of chaos, a haven for sin. As I look around these filthy animals following me, sinners each and every one of them, I realize one thing. That it's better to have a condemned soul, than no soul at all.
So Tommy Dreamer . . . shut up . . . Tommy Dreamer, look at these morons, these fools, these jesters and buffoons, these idiots. They're your people, Tommy, and for them and all their problems, and all their sins, and all their hatred, and all their anger . . . I feel your pain, Tommy . . . Ha! I feel your pain! Ha Ha! I FEEL YOUR PAIN!!! AH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
Ha Ha Ha! I love it, Tommy. You see this, this is it, These are your people, Tommy. This is my home, Tommy. Sinners, one and all; no one cares, no one worries. Tommy Dreamer, you and your little 'white meat babyface' world. 'I do it for the people, I don't care about my back, I'll survive for you people!' What hogwash, Tommy! It's crap! They don't care about you any more than they care about me. They just want to leech onto my stardom. But that's ok, Tommy. I'm garbage, a piece of crap. I've lived my life and I deserve what I get."

Raven - ECW Wrestling on TNN - September 17, 1999
"For two and a half years Tommy Dreamer, we fought an epic battle of mythic proportions. We had a friendship based on love . . . and a hatred based on friendship. You scarred my face, you battered me unmercifully . . . and you took MY GIRL! But the one thing that you could never do, was beat me Tommy. You could never beat me and I always pinned you. Two and a half years Tommy, after I came to ECW . . . to exorcize your demons, it was time for you to graduate . . . so I gave you your victory.
For two and a half years Tommy Dreamer, I stayed away from ECW. And with me gone, your life lost it's meaning, and your career lost it's purpose, and your relationship with Beulah lost it's foundation. You'd lost your focus, Tommy (laughs). You lost the girl.
Keyser Soze said the greatest trick that the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didnt exist. Well Tommy, I exist and I'm going to be your own personal demon because this savior has already been crucified for your sins . . . Quote the Raven . . . nevermore."

Raven & Saturn - WCW Thunder - April 1, 1999
(Mean Gene Asks About Raven & Saturn's Split )
RAVEN: "What are we doing together? We're together - We're together! What do you mean, Gene?"
MEAN GENE: "Well now, there was a big split, everybody knows about it. Raven and Saturn were on opposite ends of the stick, so to speak.
RAVEN: "Are you saying we broke up?"
MEAN GENE: "You broke up.
SATURN: "What do you mean we broke up? I didn't even know we were dating!"
MEAN GENE: Oh please, enough of the - uh - levity here. Gentleman, I should point out for the record, Spring Stampede is a week and a half away, but all of a sudden . . ."
RAVEN: "Hey Gene, aren't you curious about all the fighting we did?"
MEAN GENE: "Yes, I am curious."
RAVEN: Let me explain, Gene. Its nothing compared to the fighting we used to do in high school. In fact, in summer camp, me and him fought all over this girl Beulah McGillicutty. Oh, it was . . ."
SATURN: "That wasn't me! That was Tommy, goof!"
RAVEN: "Whatever."
(Mean Gene asks about their match at Spring Stampede against the Horsemen and how the titles won't be on the line since Raven helped Rey and Kidman win them from the Horsemen)
RAVEN: "That may have been a miscalculation on our part, but I never liked Benoit and I definitely don't like Stinko Malenko, to borrow Jericho 's toy to turn a phrase. Ummm, it seems to me and Benoit's last feud ended in Panama City and apparently our current feud has restarted there, and I just don't like them' so I'd figured I'd rather give the belts to Kidman and Mysterio, cuz I know we can whip them."
SATURN: "And the way I figure, we gave them the belts, they at least owe us a title shot.
(Saturn says they're gonna break up the Horsemen, Mean Gene plugs the Spring Stampede PPV)
RAVEN: "What about me, What about Raven?"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Raven - WCW Monday Nitro - March 16, 1999
(Raven is being interviewed by Riki Rachtman about his loss at Uncensored and his betrayal by his sister Chastity)
RAVEN: "You know, you'd have thought I'd seen it coming. I mean, I did set her hair on fire when we were six years old. But, you know, I got her her job in WCW and I got Hak his job. What about me? What about Raven?"
(Riki then questions Raven about how strained family gatherings might now be since his sister turned against him)
RAVEN: "Family functions suck. The only reason I'd go to family functions is so I could sit at the kid's table anyhow. I'd go there for the money, and I used to go there cuz of my sister. If she thought that Dutch ovens were horrible as a child, wait til she sees what I do to her and Hak. I'm going to crush both of you like Jerry Falwell at one of Saturn's bondage balls. Quote the Raven, nevermore . . ."
RIKI: "O . . .K"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Raven - WCW Thunder - March 11, 1999
"I always say, if chaos is inevitable, why keep order? But WCW wants everyone to, 'Respect Their Authority,' [phrase in quotes said in a Eric Cartman voice], so they're gonna put me and two boneheads in a triangle match at Uncensored. Now, I was always told by the old-timers that you had to talk good about your opponent so it'll up the buyrate. So, Bam Bam Bigelow, you have nice tattoos. And Hak, you don't sweat much for a fat guy. So, I've got . . . one . . . two . . . I got SIX words for ya . . . What About Me! What About Raven! Quote the Raven, nevermore!"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Raven - WCW Thunder - February 28, 1999
"As I sat at home, these last few months, suffering through the debilitating trauma of mental illness . . . visiting half a dozen shrinks . . . and in and out of sanitariums . . . I was forced to suffer the further indignity of listening to two jobbers talk about, 'They're Hardcore'. Bam Bam Bigelow, and a man that I used to call one of my best friends, who was even out here earlier talking about 'Hak's rules', which is a blatant and shameless rip-off of 'Raven's Rules,' which I started. I was the one that put people through tables; I was the one that drop-toe-holded people on chairs; What about me! What about Raven! So the way I see it is, they're gonna have to pay. And I'm not sure when, because I guess J.J. Dillon will have to make a match in all his ineptness . . . but the way I see it is, when it comes down, I'm gonna stomp you two like narcs at a biker rally. Quote the Raven, nevermore."
Raven - WWF Smackdown - December 28, 2000
[Raven gets on the microphone]
"Steve Blackman and Bob Holly were decimated on Monday night and lay convulsing in a heap; courtesy of what has come to be known as "the Raven effect." But that is the only facet of my existence that you brain dead WWF fans will ever come to know. And now, in my first Hardcore title defense, they troll out a mere Hardy Boy as my opponent?! Well, Jeff, 2001 will be known as the year of the Raven, and I will ..."
[The Hardy Boyz music cuts Raven off as Jeff Hardy makes his way to the ring]

"First of all, I'd like to protest the shameless attempt by this horrid piece of urban plight called the city of Baltimore for ... [crowd boos] for attempting to ride on my coattails by naming their third-rate football team after me, the Ravens. What about me?! What about Raven?!?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Raven - WWF Smackdown - September 28, 2000
[Out comes Tazz. Tazz discusses two matters at hand. Number one, he will be commentating with Michael Cole on Sunday Night Heat and number two, he says he doesn't have many friends but he does have one friend, thus Tazz introduces Raven]
[Raven comes out and grabs the mic]
"The reason I've aligned myself with Tazz is because he understands my suffering. He understands my pain, something a king wouldn't know anything about."
[King grabs the mic and cracks a few one liners on Tazz and Raven]
[Raven responds on the mic]
"That's quite amusing King, you're a regular Henny Youngman. You know sometimes in life we make our own choices, and sometimes a choice is made for us, and sometimes there is no choice. You see, King, it's typical of you and your ilk, you and your sycophantic revellers with their fancy clothes and their middle class suburbia, with their two car garage, white picket fences, 2.3 kids, a dog, their hot pretzels and Diet Coke to make fun of people like Tazz and myself from the lower class, make fun of people like us who live in squalor and poverty. What about me!? What about Raven!? You dont know what it's like to watch your parents beg for change. You dont know what its like to live in a box. I never got a hotdog. What about me!? What about Raven!?
[ Jericho 's music hits. Jericho challenges Tazz/Raven for a tag match with him and Lawler on Smackdown]
[Raven responds on the mic]

Raven - WWF Sunday Night Heat - March 26, 2001
[Raven is sitting backstage, surrounded by candles and the WWF Hardcore Championship. A weasely lookin character called the Germ sneaks up and tries to grab The Hardcore Championship.]
Raven: "What do you think you?re doing, freak?"
Germ: "Just walking around, walking around the catacombs down here." [Raven gets up]
Raven: "As you can see, I?m a very busy man. I don?t like to be interrupted."
Germ: "I know, I know, I?m sorry, but I need for you to teach me, the Germ, the hardcore way."
Raven: "Shh. You?re a sad, strange little man."
[Raven walks away. Germ reaches for the belt Raven left, picks it up and smiles. Raven turns around and takes it from him]
Raven: "Gimme that."
[Raven then makes his way down to the Heat stage at WWF New York to do a promo]
"Seven days from now, the culmination of a life?s work begins. In front of sixty five thousand people, I will defend my title against two of the most powerful forces in the World Wrestling Federation, The Big Show and Kane. So at Wrestlemania, it will be the Giant, the Monster and the Bird of Prey and like David vs. Goliath times two, I will wage a war that will leave both men broken and battered. Now even though I am the Hardcore Champion, many perceive me as having no hope my victory will be an upset. But hope and perception have never ruled my life. I have always been on the outside looking in and I have always prevailed. Fate has given me the hardcore title, destiny has brought me to Wrestlemania and pain will see me through. Fate, Destiny and Pain."
[Raven is seen pushing a shoppin cart filled with weapons down a dark passageway, when The Germ catches up to him again]
Germ: "Hey Raven, Hardcore guy! The Germ is here!"
Raven: [annoyed] "You really can?t take a hint, can you?"
Germ: "No, no -- you don?t understand, you?re the hardcore guy, you?re the hardcore champ! I?ve got a great opportunity right now! You can teach me the hardcore way!"
Raven: "Let me get this straight, I have Kane and the Big Show seven days from now and I should waste my time teaching you how to be hardcore?"
Germ: [ecstatic] "Yes!"
Raven: "That is a hopeless task and you are a moron."
Raven: [seemingly having a change of heart addresses Germ] "Push my cart."
Germ: "Does this mean yes? Will you teach me?"
[Raven just walks ahead of him]
[Raven and the Germ are next seen in a bathroom with the Hardcore Title up against a toilet]
Raven: "I want you right here, George."
Germ: "Don?t you want to be alone in the bathroom?"
Raven: "No, George. Look, when you?re in a hardcore match, I mean it could spill out anywhere. It can go into the train tracks, it could go into a river. A lot of times it ends up in a bathroom."
Germ: "Yeah ..."
Raven: "And George, I wanna know. If you?re going to be hardcore, are you willing to stick your head in a toilet to be hardcore? Are you willing, George?"
Germ: "Of course I?m willing, I?m a hardcore!"
Raven: "Let?s see you do it." Germ: "Today?"
Raven: "Forget it, George."
Germ: "Whoa! Sensei Hardcore, I?ll do it!"
[Germ slowly turns to the toilet and slowly starts to lower his head down toward it when Raven grabs his head and pushes his face into the toilet]
Raven: "Just like this, George!"
[Afterwards] Raven: "George, we?ve got to get moving." Germ: "I know we?ve got to move, but this whole Hardcore, I?m now feeling it man, and you told me everything and I?ve got this horrible smell on my face right now and it?s all because of you! I don?t mean to make it seem like I?m brown nosing you, but it?s all because of you, Raven. Hardcore!"
[Raven hands him a white wash cloth]
Raven: "Clean yourself up."
[Afterwards]
Raven: "What took you so long?"
Germ: "What took me so long? I had a little poop on my face, Sensei."
[Raven points to a milk carton with an ugly stuffed animal in it curiously]
Raven: "What?s that?"
Germ: "You have your cart, I have my little basket here and in my basket is Stella, and you smother your opponent Hardcore Style!"
[Raven grabs the stuffed animal away from George and tosses it away]
Raven: "What an idiot."
[They are standing in front of a huge stop sign]
Raven: "George, when you?re involved in a Hardcore match things are a little different. Things are philosophically different in the real world and the hardcore world. Like, what kind of car do you have?"
Germ: "a '72 Gremlin, Sensei." Raven: "And what do you do when you get to a green light?"
Germ: "Forward, keep going forward."
Raven: [motioning toward the stop sign asks] "And what happens when you get to a stop sign?"
George: "You halt! You come to a stop."
Raven: "No, George, you duck."
[Raven then attacks Germ with the stop sign]
[Afterwards]
Raven: "George, in our last lesson, we attempted to raise your threshold of pain rather unsuccessfully. Now we?re going to attempt to have you face your fears. So what I want you to do is, I want you to take this."
[He hands a trash can lid to Germ.]
Raven: "Who do you fear more than anyone, George?"
Germ: "You, Mr. Hardcore Sensai."
Raven: "Obviously, besides me." Germ: "Actually, Tazz."
Raven: "Good. I want you take that and hit Tazz as hard as you can."
Germ: "Whoa, Tazz?!"
Raven: "I want you take that and hit Tazz in the head as hard as you can."
Raven: "Hit Tazz with this ... as hard as you can."
[Germ repeats louder, "Hit Tazz with this" and Raven adds "As hard as you can."]
Germ: "GET TAZZ! TAZZ I?M COMING, TAZZ I?M COMING!"
[Germ runs off. Tazz and Cole are joking about Germ coming out to get Tazz and Germ arrives. He wimps out and wishes Tazz a happy trash can lid day when Tazz asks what he?s doing with the lid.]
Raven: "How?d it go, George?" Germ: "It didn?t go too well, Master Hardcore."
Raven: "Really? That?s a shame, George. What happened?"
Germ: "Let?s just say I?m lucky to be alive right here right now."
Raven: "Lucky, huh? Do you feel like you failed me, George? Do you feel like you didn?t live up to the aspirations and expectations I had for you, George?"
Germ: "I failed."
Raven: "Honestly George, I just wanted to see if you were dumb enough to do it."
[Raven pats him on the back]
Raven: "We?ll talk later, George."
Germ: "Oh yeah, we?ll talk later, all right."
[George then comes out at the end to try and attack Raven for the Title. Raven tries to talk him out of it. George attacks and Raven beats him up and pins him]

[Raven - WWE Sunday Night Heat - September 15, 2002]
Johnny: "Hey Raven how you doing? You and me, we need to have a little sit down. Who's the hum?"
Raven: "He's harmless."
Johnny: "You remember that little buisness arrangement we made a few weeks back."
Raven: "Yeah."
Johnny: "You hired me to take out your little D-lo Brown problem."
Raven: "Yeah."
Johnny: "And I did. Very well I might add."
Raven: "Yeah."
Johnny: "Wheres my money? I'm here to collect."
Raven: "You want me to pay you?"
Johnny: "Yeah."
Raven: "I don't think so."
Johnny: "You don't think so?"
Raven: "Johnny, I already paid you. I paid you in opportunity. You see, I gave you the opportunity to come onto my playground and display ruthless agression for Eric Bischoff by beating D-lo Brown. You know, I think you should be paying me."
Johnny: "Me, paying you? I don't think so."
Raven: (Raven puts his arm around Johnny) "You know, I like you Johnny. So I'll tell you what. I'll give you another opprtunity to display ruthless agression. In the ring tonight, except your opponents going to be me." (the crowd cheers). Johnny: "You and me? (turns to howard) You believe this guy? Consider it done. I'll tell you what though, you're going to pay me today or...you're going to pay me today. (gives Raven a small slap on the cheek) Capice?"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Raven - WWE Sunday Night Heat - September 8, 2002]
"Shut up, Howard. Howard, the first rule of Heat is that its my own personal playground. So, please spare me your thesis on my match with D-Lo Brown. Its just one little game, Howard. In my playground, there are games being played all the time. Its just one little piece of the puzzle. As all the players move across the board, believing themselves to be kings, queens, bishops, rooks - they remain blissfully unaware that they're all pawns being orchestrated by me. So, Howard, whether its D-Lo Brown last week, whether its Spike Dudley tonight, whether its you - you're all fragments of my bigger masterpiece. Quote the Raven, nevermore."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Raven - WWE Sunday Night Heat - August 18, 2002]
"D-Lo Brown was once again a victim of the rules of Raven's playground. I almost feel sorry for Justin; but in chess, pawns must be sacrificed. But let me assure D-Lo Brown that the games aren't over and I'd like to personally bid him welcome to the clockwork orange ride in Raven's house of fun."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Raven - WWE Sunday Night Heat - August 18, 2002]
"D-Lo Brown, you degenerate reprobate, I accept your challenge. But not tonight. Understand that Heat is my personal playground and I will not allow anyone to dictate terms to me! But you will have an opponent, because there is a ton of people back in the locker room who would LOVE to make an impact on Eric Bischoff and show some ruthless aggression. So tonight your opponent is not just the coolest, he's not just the best, he's Justin Credible."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Raven - WWE Sunday Night Heat - August 11, 2002]
"D-lo Brown, I've come out here to regretfully inform you and all of these depraved sociopaths that I won't be able to compete tonight because of a sprained ankle. I'm sure you people would love to see me wrestle injured, perhaps risking permanent physical damage. Well, that's typical of you degenerates, parading around with a facade of caring and compassion while deep inside lusting for bloodthirsty spectacle. D-lo, this is your fault! Your unprovoked attack on me last week left me with a severe physical trauma which is only matched by my disdain for your reprehensible behavior. D-lo Brown, your transgressions have a price; a liability that must be paid in full. So I have enlisted the aid of someone who is not unfamiliar with the term "debt collection." D-Lo Brown, prepare to pay!"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Raven - WWE Sunday Night Heat - July 28, 2002]
[Raven is asked if he is considering going to the Smackdown roster]
"With what leverage, Terri? My level of exposure isn't HALF of what it needs to be. Besides, how attractive of a free agent would I really make? And even so, do you REALLY think they'd allow me on Smackdown? They'd find some way to get me off of there. Because, every time people see me, they say I'm a freak. They say I'm a degenerate. They say I'm depraved. Well, labeling people is the product of narrow minded individuals. You see, I'm not depraved ... they are. Well, I guess I'm gonna stay here on Heat; because if I can't be on RAW, I am going to take delight on turning Heat into my own personal playground."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Raven - WWE Sunday Night Heat - July 7, 2002]
[Raven is asked how he feels about being banished from RAW]
"How do you think I feel? I feel betrayed. I feel ripped off. My career is in jeopardy because of the whimsy of Vincent K. McMahon. I feel like a pawn in some megalomaniacal billionaire's chess game. And when I lost, I was ushered out of the building like a child who had been grounded and sent to his room!"
[Terri then informs the viewers that tonight Raven has his rematch against Tommy Dreamer.]
"Tommy Dreamer ... Tommy Dreamer will pay for the indignities that I suffered. Tommy Dreamer will feel the wrath of my retribution. It's time for someone else to feel MY pain! Because if you cut us, do we not bleed? If you tickle us, do we not laugh? If you poison us, do we not die? And if you wrong us, shall we not revenge?! Quote the Raven, nevermore."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Raven - WWE Sunday Night Heat - June 9, 2002]
"Fate has brought me to these crossroads and I WILL NOT be held accountable for my actions. QUOTE the Raven, nevermore ..."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Raven - WWE RAW - May 27, 2002]
"It wasn't Debra's family that had the emergency. It was Stone Cold Steve Austin's. In fact, it was Austin himself. Austin can conceal his pain no longer, because, from my vantage point, no matter how cleverly he may sneak upon a mirror, his reflection is always right there, to stare back at him. His passion has led to his success, but it will also prove to be his Waterloo , courtesy of what has come to be known as "The Raven Effect."
